Why see a nutritional therapist?

We all know we should eat well but navigating today’s supermarkets and all the misinformation about what to eat can be confusing and stressful - that’s what I’m here for. To take away all that confusion and stress and bring back enjoyment with the knowledge that you’re fueling yourself in the best way possible.

I take a holistic, naturopathic approach - this means I look at how each of your systems and body are functioning as a whole, not just focusing on symptoms, goals or conditions. This ensures that my plan is not only supporting your goals but also your whole body.

Using a combination of naturopathic nutritional therapy and evidence based research to ensure that your personalised nutrition plan both is effective and has sound reasoning behind each recommendation.


What is a plan feedback appointment?

A plan feedback appointment is there to make sure that you understand your new plan completely. Addressing any possible obstacles that may arise and giving you an opportunity to ask any questions you may have.

I will also go through any supplement recommendations, your nutritional handouts and recipes. Making any lifestyle change can be overwhelming - I want to make this journey as easy and as enjoyable as it can be. Giving you this extra time to properly discuss how your plan will make it that much easier to implement.

How long will my plan be?

This is completely dependent on your goal and how your body responds to your plan. The average plan duration can be between 12-20 weeks. For those who are looking for support with long standing symptoms, conditions or goals (like weight loss) can have a longer plan duration.

Nutritional therapy isn’t a quick fix or something you do in the short term. Your plan will help you make long term, lifestyle changes so that you are optimising your nutrition in the best way possible. Helping you create positive changes and habits that you can use for the rest of your life!
